Their Story

Kato + Ines met in July 2016 at Dogwood, a small bar restaurant in Midtown, Houston. Kato looked left and a small spark arrived within in his chest and the two exchanged numbers.

They dating began and by Christmas 2018 were engaged and set to marry in April 2020 at Noah's event venue in Katy, TX. An abrupt bankruptcy occurred just 2 months prior to the event and they lost everything they had contributed, along with many other couples. Immediately, the couple scrambled, looking for anyone to take their wedding on such short notice.

"We were blessed and highly favored to have found Mrs. Geovanna Burgess White, owner of Mia Bella in Tomball, TX - possible angel sent who knows, but she agreed and helped us make it happen.... However, a virus had other plans and forced us to reconsider for later in the Year September 2020. The Virus became unrelenting throughout the fall and winter so yet again we rescheduled for April 2021."

With so much time to Re-Prepare 3 times lol, Kato + Ines were ahead of schedule and lined everything up with Mia Bella's kindness and assistance.

"The venue was such a sight to see and our hearts melted at the thought of such an opportunity as this and the reality to finally make this happen. All the little details and the atmosphere really coincided with our situation ,and really the situation of the world as a whole. It really is what they say that, 'This too shall pass' A chain of events that stopped us only helped us have our true wedding and it was witnessed at Mia Bella!"
